Northeast Party House are a band you can't resist. Ben of Shaky Hands has known them since they were wee-tikes at the Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School, and you can comfortably say they've evolved from being a cool house party band to a fully fledged festival main stage worthy outfit. With the arrival of their newest album Dare, Ben hit up guitarist Jack Shoe at soccer training one night and set up a Shaky visit at the legendary Bakehouse Studios.
So on a cold and miserable Melbourne night, we took the old 4x4 down Johnson St and found the 6-piece in Mick Turner's room at Bakehouse running through their ferocious set ahead of their national tour. With Dare wrapped and on the shelves, we found a group of legends in their element: Confident, excited and at full force.
Big thanks to the boys! Here's to now and forever!
