For a very special Shaky Hands visit, we headed to Melbourne's renowned Bakehouse Studios. With a huge history of both local and international legends who have used the rehearsal and studio spaces, Bakehouse is one of only few places around town that could comfortably fit six-piece band, Lurch and Chief.
Lurch and Chief formed in 2011 and within the space of five years they've managed to release 2 EPs with massive praise from triple j and play festivals such as Falls Festival, Groovin The Moo, Big Pineapple Music Festival, Beyond The Valley, Party In The Paddock, and NYE On the Hill.
With six in the band, this was definitely our biggest shoot to date and the 2 six-packs of Mountain Goat we brought with us quickly disappeared. Lurch and Chief were also kind enough to let us sit in while they absolutely powered through their set with ease and it'll be a huge loss to not see them up on stage anymore.
Having recently announced their break up as band, we're very honoured to have been allowed to visit and shoot the guys before they play their final show.
